Here's what to watch on Netflix while you're ignoring the doorbell this Halloween

Getting up and down every five minutes to trick or treaters? No thanks.

1. The Land Before Time

If you’re really not a fan of Halloween and repeatedly getting up and down to answer the door to kids, then you can just pretend it’s a regular Wednesday night next week. Pull the curtains, grab a duvet, turn the TV up so that you can’t hear the fireworks or the doorbell and relax with this lovely children’s classic. The scariest thing you will experience this Halloween is the realisation that this film is now 30 years old.

2. Twilight, movies 1-5

Regardless of how much you made fun of the Twilight series a decade ago, there’s a good chance you’ll find yourself far too invested in the Edward v Jacob situation if you watch the films now. The supernatural theme also makes it a vaguely Halloween-y film, too.

3. Maniac

Netflix / YouTube

There was plenty of hype around Jonah Hill and Emma Stone’s new Netflix series and tbh, it’s deserved. It’s even better than it looks in the trailer.

4. Sixteen Candles
